The Envelope Institute of America (EIA) was founded in 1943 by nine independently owned envelope manufacturers. We are a small cohesive organization dedicated to improving every phase of envelope manufacturing by working closely together sharing best practices and bench-marking. Today, the association has 12 members totaling 17 plant locations geographically dispersed across the U.S. and Puerto Rico.
