HD Envelopes
Colortree’s specialty is the High Definition Envelope – a sheet-fed four color process, die-cut and fold envelope featuring brilliant colors and evocative images. HD envelopes are available in any quantity with NO minimum order.
HD Envelopes are used by direct marketers to make their mail package stand-out in the mailbox, get noticed, pique interest and get opened. 
They start the selling process immediately, from the moment the recipient sees the envelope.
HD envelopes are made from uncoated or coated papers. Designs may include hi-resolution photographic images, full bleeds, flood coverage, process built color and exact PMS and custom logo colors.
The HD Envelope process begins with a bold colorful image-rich design.
Multiple images of your envelope design are printed on paper sheets sized up to 28" x 40” with up to six colors with or without coatings and varnishes on state of the art Heidelberg sheet-fed offset press utilizing very sophisticated color management software.
Once inks are dry, sheets are loaded into an automated die-cutter which cuts the individual images out, creating stacks of individual envelope blanks.
Stacks of flat envelope blanks are loaded into the envelope folder where the windows are cut-out and patched. Adhesives are applied to the seal-flap and seams. The blanks are then scored to size and the blank is then folded into a finished envelope.
The finished envelopes are boxed, palletized, shrink-wrapped and shipped.
