CEO Pat Patterson Elected to VMA Board of Directors

VMA Elects Board of Directors -Jamie Baisden of QMT Windchimes Elected Chairman-

NEWPORT NEWS, VA – Today the Virginia Manufacturers Association elected its Board of Directors at its 95th Annual Meeting in Newport News, Virginia. Jamie Baisden, CEO of QMT Windchimes in Manassas Park, was elected Chairman. Tanya Cook, Philip Morris USA in Richmond, was elected Vice Chairman; Larry Souverielle, General Dynamics in Marion, was elected Treasurer; Chris Tonk, O-I in Toano, was elected Secretary; Scott Tilley, Stihl Inc. in Virginia Beach, was elected Immediate Past Chairman; Rob Hogan, NNS in Newport News, was elected Past Chairman; and David Moore, Universal Leaf Corporation in Richmond, was elected Chairman Emeritus. Brett Vassey was elected Chief Executive Officer.

VMA’s new Chairman, Jamie Baisden, stated today, “I’m honored to serve the Virginia Manufacturers Association and its members. I look forward to leading Virginia’s premier industry association. Manufacturing Makes Virginia!”

Two new At-Large Directors were elected to the Board this year. Pat Patterson, CEO of Colortree Group in Richmond, will serve a two-year term. Phil Wekenmann, Site Director of GE Automation & Controls in Charlottesville, will serve a one-year term.

Colortree Group is proud to announce our partnership with St. Joseph’s Villa to help those in Richmond with special needs, family assistance and on-the-job training.

Colortree Group and St. Joseph’s Villa believe that all families deserve to reach their full potential.

St. Joseph’s Villa is the longest continuously operating children’s nonprofit organization in the country. St. Joseph’s Villa provides educational, residential and day programs for children and families struggling with physical, intellectual developmental disabilities, mental health issues and homelessness.

Colortree Group will work with organizational development experts, counselors and nonprofit staff to provide leadership, practical training and community engagement as part of their everyday work.

This partnership will begin to build Colortree’s legacy of helping individuals integrate services to address serious challenges all children and families face.

Colortree Group is powered by the generosity and talent of its employees, who have a strong commitment to their communities. Over the next year, Colortree Group and St. Joseph’s Villa plan to work together to create various volunteer opportunities for Colortree employees.
